One project I did this weekend was make JUMBO crayons with Dan. As you can see with the previous post I have a HUGE amount of stuff to accomplish and we decided to add something else to list. They came out great. I think it took between 11 and 12 grayons for the snowmen chunky ones and 9 and 10 for the Christmas tree ones.
Crayons peeled and in the silicone molds...We baked them at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes. I forgot to put tham on a baking tray soooo

Really cute molds, I especially like the tree! Those crayons are huge, lucky kiddos!
These are so fun! They would be nice to put into kids Christmas Stockings!
thanks Stacey. they are from target and were only $2.50. They were better than the $10.00 from Joann's too. Miss. Paula I have some in my etsy store, I plan on giving them to customers too..
My elementary school art teacher used to do this with the tiny pieces of crayons. He didn't have cute molds though; he used mini aluminum pie pans. I remember loving the swirls of colors. Thanks for bringing back good memories! :)
OMG SO awesome!
Leah we used to make them at camp too but we used like playdoh molds with melted wax. this was was much easier...
