school

Started school...It wasn't too bad and 1/2 the class is online. It will be over in July and I am pondering if I want to do any shows again..

Figured since I have been slacking in the blogging department I would show some pics of my most recent creations.

The pink and aqua napkins are pin-up napkins for a swap with my friend Pam. I made the girls from decals I found at my grnadma's house and copied them and blew them up to make a pattern. I hope she likes them. They are in colors she likes. The pics are a bit blurry but I was having camera and computer issues.

The white t is Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords. My mom loved the towels and really wanted them on a shirt...The hubby works this weekend so I should have more items to post..

guess I should get back to work. We are back from England and the fun never stops..lol

This is for my friend Trudy...she got us hooked on "Flight of the Conchords"..I am going to make some more things with them....

Show..Weekend

So Dan and I set uo the show on Friday ( the really only positive thing) and showed up a bit later than most shows like 8:15 am. I did see a girl I know Christine who is sweet and told me about the show but we were there from 9-5 and I sold nothing. There was this super obnoxious lady across from me who kept telling veryone how her stuff was original and she was doing a mother's day special, blah blah blad. Dan wanted to knock her in the head. We got subs from Publix for $18 and spent $35 to get in the show. I am not doing any more of these, I am only going to do them when I cna be in control.
The booth looked great but if I am selling something hand embroidered for $20 how can I compete with someone with machine embroidery for $5 and they are able to mass produce it and have 50 ugly angels???
