Open House

I am going to have an open house at the end of the month to sell my embroidered specialties (makes them sound fancy) and Envirosax (look above at my 2 new fav's)..Ohh I lurve them. They roll up super small and I put them in my purse and I am trying to carry them all of the time.

The lady at Albertsons wanted to buy mine this morning. My mom got a 20 cent credit for each Envirosax she used instead of using the bag from the store this weekend. Go green and save some green. God know we can all afford to save some money lately..

Shhhhhh!!! It's a swap surprise

This is for a swap I am doing with sew-sew-a-go-go. Her daughter is Madison and is 3 almost 4....She likes pink and is into skeletons right now...I found this pic on flickr and modified it a bit but it turned out cute. I love the girl skull. I am debating whether or not to put her name on it...

I am working on all sorts of stuff. Pics will be posted this week!

Reality and Dreaming.........

I was writing a response to someone and talking about school at the Academy of Art recently. I forgot how much I loved going here and some of the great people I met.I only talk to 2 or three people from SF. One of them is my friend Nicole who lives in Chicago and Jakey Ryan who resides in LA currently. I attended the Academy in the summer of 2002 as soon as I had graduated from grad school. Grad school is something I shall talk about another time.

I was so fortunate to be able to experience this school and I think it was probably the best school experience I have ever had and maybe the first time I felt like I actually was the the right place....

In my opinion, San Fran is one of the most accepting places I have ever traveled to. I totally loved the fact that anything goes there.

More Pics

Figured since I have been slacking in the blogging department I would show some pics of my most recent creations.

The pink and aqua napkins are pin-up napkins for a swap with my friend Pam. I made the girls from decals I found at my grnadma's house and copied them and blew them up to make a pattern. I hope she likes them. They are in colors she likes. The pics are a bit blurry but I was having camera and computer issues.

The white t is Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords. My mom loved the towels and really wanted them on a shirt...The hubby works this weekend so I should have more items to post..

we're back

guess I should get back to work. We are back from England and the fun never stops..lol
