20th Sale on Etsy Giveaway Contest

Boy did is ever take a long time to get 20 sales but I am so glad it has happened. I think I am going to have a contest. Hmm ....You will have to send a link to one of your most favorite creations and why..Could be a meal, could be a piece of clothing, an embroidered object a collage. I will pick the winner a week from today November the 3rd I think....
The prize will be a mixture of crafty goodness some patterns, something from my shop maybe or ribbon or a book. It will be good though ask people I am a good gifter..

Here is my new favorite creation I made...

She is from an Norwegian artist named Maicen. She gave me permission to embroider her ladies on a skirt for me to wear for my upcoming show.

and this pic above is the girl I am wearing today. She kind of reminds me of my friend Pam..

I finished this towel this weekend too. I am trying to make some fun holiday towels for the show.
As far as the show Stacey and I are working to make sure it is great. We have an amazing bunch of artists so go check them out in the blog and hopefully some of the locals can make it out to the show. The show has been blogged about by another organizer and we have been in some local papers are well as out great ad in Skirt!
So that is it. Hopefully the computer at home gets fixed so I can catch up this week...

Your ladies are beautiful! We really do need to swap! I'm starting another round of the tea towel swap in January. Wanna be partners?

Your embroidery creations are all so cute and beautifully made =). I've been 'quietly' reading your blog for a while and I love seeing all your new creations (I was devastated when your computer broke down!). This is my first post on your blog. My favourite ones of your creations are the shag one from the previous post and I love the sheep family tree that you have made.

your embroidered work is great! Had to think about my favorite piece, I guess it would be my Darth Vader coaster. It's the craziest custom request I've ever done and I was really happy with how it came out. Always makes me laugh!

Congrats on the 20 sales!! That's awesome. That skirt your embroidered those ladies on sounds amazing. Would love to see the whole thing.

Hmmmm. . . my favorite handmade thing. . . well, I'm not much of a cook (despite coming from an Italian family of cookers and bakers) but I make a damn good homemade sauce and lasagna. So far as stuff in the shop: I'm probably most proud of my coif:

It's the first piece of armor that I made and was also among one of my very first chain maille projects.

By the way, thank you so much for doing such an amazing job organizing Handmade Holiday Bazaar. I'm really looking forward to it.

Kimberland thanks for the kind words and for leaving a comment. I did love that sheep blanket it took forever to complete.

Nothinglikeit that is so hilarious that coaster. Omigoodness your stuff is great. People are total star wars fans. I got to go to Lucas's studio when I lived in San Fran and I saw a Darth Vader that was used in the movie and I acted like it was Johnny Depp..and I don't even like Star Wars!

Athena we are so looking forward to the show. I am all about some homemade saue YUMMY! I like your coif too.

So many talented people all over to inspire me.
Thanks for reading!!
